Promotional Videos

Looking for a different way to promote your business in the run up to Christmas?

Why not have Tina pay you a visit and create you a short video that we will post on our social media!

It’s really simple all you need to do is tell Tina what you would like photos taken and she then takes

them and creates them in to a video- the whole process takes around 15 minutes. Once she’s

finished she will show you the video right there and then to make sure you are happy with it.

The video can be about anything you want:

  • New stock
  • New dishes or specials
  • Meet the Team

The choice is entirely up to you!

Over 27 businesses have already taken the opportunity and some more than once so you can have a

new video anytime you wish.

The videos consistently get 85% more engagement than our regular posts. Drop Tina an email

on [email protected]  to arrange your video.

You can check out previous videos on our Facebook Page.

Elgin Gift Card

Background Information

The Elgin Gift Card was launched in June 2018 by Elgin BID for the Elgin BID members.

Elgin BID are covering all the set up and operation costs for the project on behalf of members.

The cards operate on a swipe system so any businesses who accepts card payments can accept it.

It is simple to register and simple to accept, the programme is one of several Town Gift cards that support the work of Business Improvement Districts.

Where can the gift card be spent & bought?

In October, there were more than 80 BID businesses accepting it, offering a huge choice for the person receiving the gift.  This involves national chains, independent stores and everyone in between.

People using the card can choose to treat themselves to a meal out, coffee and cake, a beauty treatment, shoes, children’s clothes, a new outfit, furniture for the house, a holiday, they can even get a steak from the butchers – the choice is truly theirs!

The gift cards can be purchased online at www.elgingiftcard.co.uk

or in person at  Gordon & MacPhail.

I want to accept the Elgin Gift Card- what do I do next?

Registration takes moments, the BID team call into the businesses and carry out a test transaction, by the following morning the business can accept the Elgin Gift Card.

The transaction appears as a Mastercard transaction on the till roll.

Support guidelines and “Gift Card Accepted Here” sticker is provided.

The aim of the project is to offer a truly meaningful gift that keeps money in the city centre.

Elgin BID carries out regular press and promotional opportunities to promote the gift card.
