Elgin BID (Embrace Elgin) is a membership organisation voted for in 2010, again in 2015 and for a third term in 2019.  We work for the businesses in the city centre and tailor our help and support to our members needs.

We have been a key partner a number of projects that have led to substantial investment in the city for example the Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme which was worth more than £3 million pounds to Elgin.

To find out more about what we do, have a look at our Business Plan and Mid Term Review.  Why not contact us for an chat to see how we can help.

Full details of the company structure, projects, priorities and plans can be found in the 2020 – 2025 Business Plan.  We strive to make Elgin an exciting and enjoyable place to do business, visit, live & work.

Our Board of Directors are made up of local business owners/managers and people with a vested interest in the city centre, they bring an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience.

There are 2 full time members of staff who drive activity forward on behalf of the Board:

Gemma Cruickshank– BID Manager
Tina Mainland – Office & Social Media Administrator

The work carried out by the company is driven by our business plan which was developed following consultation with our members.

In Autumn 2019, the company returned to ballot and the businesses voted in favour for Phase 3 of Elgin BID.

If you are a BID member you can keep keep up to date of everything that is happening by browsing our latest E Bulletins. If you are not receiving these by E mail or via the post, please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements.
