Elgin’s Christmas Lights Need You!

❄Is your favourite part of Christmas the twinkly lights?

❄Do you want to be more involved in your community?

❄Do you have a flare for fundraising?  

If so you may just be the perfect fit for the Light Up Elgin Group!

The Christmas Lights in Elgin are funded by Elgin Town Centre Benevolent Trust and Elgin BID. Elgin BID cover the ongoing costs of putting the lights up every year and the Benevolent Trust fundraises money for when lights need replaced.

The trust is now down to a few members and are in need of some fresh faces to bring some new ideas and fundraising ability. That is where the Light Up Elgin group will come in. The group will need core members to meet with the Elgin BID team (5 times a year max) to discuss the Christmas Lights and what fundraising can be done.  

The current Christmas Lights will need replaced in the next few years and it costs a pretty penny to get the whole City Centre lit up! The BID Team will be on hand to help with any fundraising ideas and events.
